Example of a successful long-standing cooperation
Following the translation of the customer’s technical specifications into German within the scope of an international invitation to tender, we were assigned with the translation of all documents required for participation in the tender process such as technical bid, technical descriptions, clearance certificates, commercial register excerpts, etc.
After our customer was awarded the contract for this invitation to tender, we furthermore translated the entire correspondence as well as all technical documents (operating and maintenance instructions, etc.). On the occasion of technical training courses, which were held both on the premises of the customer as well as his suppliers, we were also able to provide our interpreting services and gained even more comprehensive knowledge of the products in the process. As a result, we were not only assigned with on-site interpreting for the subsequent user training courses abroad, but also with the preparation and translation of the respective training documents. Thanks to this know-how and our experience in the field of adult education, we even assumed the role of trainer within the scope of further training courses.
Meanwhile, we were familiar with our customer’s products and installed systems to such an extent that we were able to directly draw up the documents for technical acceptances in the foreign language in continuous dialog with our customer’s technicians and his end customer. We then acted as facilitator in the subsequent technical acceptance process.
Beyond these works, we also offer proofreading of technical documents so as to bring them into a generally comprehendible German prior to translation.
